City of London Rifles Banner on permanent display in St. George’s Memorial Church, Ypres, Belgium
The lodge has been raising funds to enable the restoration of the Regimental banner that is on permanent display at St George’s Memorial Church Ypres. Also, for an ‘In Memoriam’ centenary brass plaque to the men of the 6th Battalion who made the ultimate sacrifice during WW1 to be placed underneath the banner. Both are now in situ and can be viewed on any future visit to the church.
